A Minimalist Architectural Gem Tucked Away in the English Countryside

Architect Tim Poulson and his wife, Elizabeth, bought the property in 2004 and built this single-story house in 2006 with the intention of drawing on the influence of some of his favorite architectural icons. Mr. Poulson also drew on his experience to incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient systems and materials into the home, which has large, flexible spaces for living, working, relaxing and sleeping.
