Herbert Hoover Jr. Lived in This California Home in the 1930s and '40s

The one-story house was built in 1928 by local businessman Frank Picard, and the estate included almost 6 acres of land. In 1932, when the Hoovers moved in, they added a children's wing with a playroom that was designed by family friend A.A. Milne, the author of "Winnie the Pooh."
